International Film Festival of India – IFFI 2012 the 43rd edition in Goa

IFFI 2012 is being held from 20 November to 30 November 2012 in Panjim, Goa

Akshay Kumar was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of IFFI 2012 which was attended by high profile ministers at a glittering event at Kala Academy in Campal, Goa.

Kailash Kher performed life for the event and invited Irrfan Khan and Tabu who play roles in the Opening film of IFFI 2012 was  Life of Pi. Post the screening the complete cast and crew of the film were present at the curtain call.

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), founded in 1952,is an annual film festival currently held in Goa, India.

The festival aims at providing a common platform for the cinemas of the world to project the excellence of the film art; contributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures of different nations in the context of their social and cultural ethos, and promoting friendship and cooperation among people of the world.
